Lowick x Cllr Adam Harrison, Deputy Leader of Camden Council and Cabinet Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden

This morning, we hosted our second in conversation event of the year, this time with Cllr Adam Harrison, Deputy Leader of Camden Council and Cabinet Member for Planning and a Sustainable Camden.

Addressing a packed and standing room, Cllr Harrison covered a range of topics, including Camden’s vital contribution to the UK’s economy, HS2, public realm improvements around Euston and Tottenham Court Road, and the local plan review.

Delivering social rented homes remains the administration’s overwhelming priority, in the context of a spiralling waiting list and a temporary accommodation crisis.

With the highest concentration of students by local authority in the UK, Cllr Harrison also stressed the importance of delivering high-quality, purpose-built student accommodation to meet this demand.
